The fire sprinkler scope of work consists of providing a NFPA 13R system for a 2 level building which is a 4-plex. The building will have new 2” underground to a 1 ½” backflow preventer and header with floor control valves.
[BLD16-00733] - Permit to construct a 3,804 square foot 4-plex apartment building. This building is fire sprinklered for R-occupancy requirements. Both single story bottom units are “accessible” units in that one is a “Type B” unit and one is a “Type A unit”. The “Type A” unit is required because the overall development exceeds 20 units. Both second story units are not accessible. Scope of work includes: construction of poured concrete foundation, construction of wood framed exterior walls, construction of pre-engineered wood roof truss system, [construction of interior nonbearing walls to create: two bedrooms and two & ½ baths in each unit], new electrical, new plumbing, new mechanical, new interior / exterior finishes, new accessible entrance doors / hardware, and related site work. This building will be fully sprinklered with an NFPA 13R system. **TLW**
