The fire sprinkler scope of work consists of protecting a two level fire station per NFPA 13. The system has a 4” backflow preventer with 4” header and 4” floor control valves.

[BLD16-01092] - Permit to construct a new 11,936 square foot fire station. This building is fire sprinklered for area increase and non-separated uses. This building utilizes enhanced lighting to comply with the 2012 IECC. Scope of work includes: construction of poured concrete foundation, construction of reinforced CMU exterior walls, construction of new steel bar-joist floor – ceiling framing / steel pan deck, [construction of interior nonbearing walls to create: 7 sleeping units, 5 restrooms / bathing rooms, lobby, three offices, work room, turn out room, decon room, maintenance shop, riser room, 3 storage rooms, laundry room, janitors closet, fitness room, kitchen, and dayroom], new elevator, new electrical, new plumbing, new mechanical, new interior / exterior finishes, new accessible doors / hardware, and related site work.
