[Black Bear Diner - Shell]
The fire sprinkler scope of work consists of installing a complete automatic wet pipe fire sprinkler system throughout the new shell building per NFPA 13 2013 for ordinary hazard I. The system has 6” underground to a 3” backflow preventer and riser. The system is designed as a 2½”x2”x1½” Grid supplied by a 2½” Feed Main. Additional pipe and fittings have been added to the calculations for a later tenant improvement. Quick response sprinklers are being utilized. The building is wood truss construction. All combustible concealed spaces are to be filled with noncombustible insulation as per the drawing.

[BLD17-00012] – For the construction of a new 5,504 sq. ft. shell building on and existing pad site with work to include general site work with utilities. This building will be fire sprinklered to accommodate the future A-2 occupancy. A separate building permit is required to complete the build out of the tenant space. The building envelope including the HVAC units and exterior lighting have been reviewed under this permit with interior lighting selected as the additional energy efficiency option. The interior lighting will be reviewed as part of the future tenant improvement. CDM
