The fire sprinkler scope of work consists of installing 6" C-900 piping from the hot tap (by Suez) into the riser room through a 6" Ames backflow and feed two wet systems in the 64,621 ft² new shopping center. All sprinklers will be quick response type. Loading area will use high temp heads. The cooler/freezer areas will use intermediate temp heads. There is a mezzanine on the east side of the building and an outdoor seating area which will use heat tracing. The systems are designed as a 4”x4”x1½” grids. A wall PIV will be provided.

Permit for the construction of a new 64,621 sq. ft. Albertsons Grocery Store with work to include general site with utilities and the construction of the new building Per the approved plans. This is a fully fire sprinklered building for area increase. Demolition of current building with construction of new store and related site work.

Alternative Materials and Methods:
This project includes approved code alternates to the following fire protection systems and/or building life safety systems. Please review the supplemental documents attached to this building permit case for details. Fire protection “shop drawings” shall include approved code alternate design.

• There are two AMM for this project at this time. Neither of the AMM affects the fire protection system.
