The fire sprinkler scope of work consists of adding, plugging and relocating sprinklers to accommodate new wall and ceiling configuration. The ESFR sprinklers are being changed to extra-large orifice k=11.2 sprinklers. New calculations were provided.

The fire sprinkler system is used for building area increase and for fire area. To create a 12,181 square foot sales and warehouse tenant space within a new 21,885 square foot building. The building shell was constructed under permit BLD17-00763. Work is to include a tenant demising wall, interior nonbearing walls, two toilet rooms accessible to the disabled, a new double leaf exterior door, exterior wall infills, suspended acoustical ceilings, gypsum board ceilings, millwork, and finishes. A separate racking permit is required for racks more than 8 feet tall. The future test kitchen will be done under a separate permit. The work is required to comply with the approved drawings, with the plan review report, and with all applicable codes and ordinances. The fire sprinkler system is required to comply with NFPA 13 and the fire alarm system is required to comply with NFPA 72 as regulated by the Fire Department. Separate fire sprinkler permits and fire alarm permits shall be obtained prior to beginning any modification or installation work on such systems. **CJW**
