To repair an existing header over a 10'-6" opening in an existing 12' wide x 56' long manufactured home and repair an existing header over a 10'-6" opening in the existing 12' wide x 20' long attached addition. Work to include: Modify the existing 2 x 4 header at the addition side as indicated in the engineering sketches and calculations; install a new header over the opening on the manufactured home side per the engineered drawings; provide new connections, columns for bearing, and all other work per the approved engineered drawings, attached plan review report, the structural inspectors final approval, and other reviewing agencies comments. The Building Official has determined carbon monoxide poisoning, smoke and fire related hazards to be specific hazards associated with buildings and/or structures without smoke and carbon monoxide detection and alarm systems that do not meet current building codes. Carbon monoxide poisoning, smoke and fire related hazards are substantial hazards because the likelihood of death and or injury from said hazards increases in buildings and/or structures. The existing portions of buildings or structures with non-existent or inadequate smoke and carbon monoxide detection and alarm systems that do not meet current building codes must be retrofitted to meet current code requirements. **SRZ**
