To construct a 741 square foot addition to an existing 3,806 square foot Single Family Dwelling per the approved plans, attached plan review report, and adopted codes. The addition will include a studio room and a storage room accessed from the exterior. The Building Official has determined carbon monoxide poisoning, smoke and fire related hazards to be specific hazards associated with buildings and/or structures without smoke and carbon monoxide detection and alarm systems that do not meet current building codes. Carbon monoxide poisoning, smoke and fire related hazards are substantial hazards because the likelihood of death and or injury from said hazards increases in buildings and/or structures.
