(STUDIO 1212) Permit for interior improvements to an existing 3,200 sq. ft. building with work to include the addition of a 1,450 sq. ft. second story for office /studio space and the conversion of the warehouse area to studio, office and storage areas. No storage is allowed on the second story as the floor system has not been designed for storage loads and the building is also type VB construction which does not allow the second story to be classified as a S-1 occupancy. All work per the approved plans and the attached engineering. The building is divided into three different areas. The existing occupied office are is 800 sq. ft., Studio A & B is 2,037 sq. ft. and Studio C is 1,339 sq. ft. Studio A & B share one restroom however if these areas are separated off form each other an additional restroom will be required. This building is not fire sprinklered.CDM
