[West Vet Emergency Center]
The fire sprinkler scope of work consists of protecting a two level veterinarian hospital. The 6” riser supplies a 2 ½” back flow and riser. The riser has two 2 ½” wet system and one 2 ½” dry system. The dry system is for a small canopy. Both floors are designed as a 2 ½”x2 ½”x 1 ¼” grid.

The underground piping is under permit NAF16-00019

(WEST VET) Permit for the construction of a new 32,170 sq. ft. two story building with 16,186 sq. ft. on the first story and 15,984 sq. ft. on the second story. The first story includes animal care and reception areas with the second story consisting of office, animal care, employee locker room an A-3 training room and two sleeping units. The building will be fully fire sprinklered for allowable area increase and is also required due to the inclusion of sleeping units. The building is to be equipped with a voice alarm system to allow for a reduction in the exit width from the second story per section 1005 2012 IBC. All work per the approved plans, any notation, attached engineering and the attached plan review report. CDM

-Verified the rest of the dry pipe system, missing two seismic braces at elbow to canopy.
- Verified drop ceiling coverage 2nd flr in conference room and center office space, a room was added to the west side of this space and messed up sprinkler coverage(plans noted)
-Drop ceiling for hallway in front of elevator and apartments on 2nd flr still pending.
-Coverage in operating rooms 1st flr, uprights were added, "OK"

2nd floor ceiling grid drops inspected, except for large conference rooms and a couple other areas which had no grids installed (see plans).
1st floor hardlids ok to cover. All mains and branch lines inspected (hangars & bracing). Dry system to point marked on plans verified.

The following previously noted items were corrected: kennel modification area and storage drop.

Rough-in inspection of second floor conducted. Hard lid areas (i.e, bathrooms) ok to cover. All mains, branch lines and bracing OK. A few issues are:
-uprights spaced within 5' in mechanical room
-kennel space shifted so uprights and pendants need to be shifted (see plans)
-drop for storage space not cut in
-one upright has protector still on

Sprinkler spacing for pendants will need to be verified.
