To construct a 4,408 square foot building adjacent to an existing 4,800 square foot building. Both buildings are considered to be one 9,208 square foot building for the application of the building code since they are separated by only 4 feet. Work is to include concrete footings, concrete stem walls, concrete slab on grade, steel column and girder moment frames, steel rod cross bracing, horizontal wall and roof purlins, steel siding, steel roofing, exterior windows, overhead doors, and side-hinged swinging doors. The building addition will not be insulated, conditioned, or have electric lighting. An existing gas pump and gas pump cover will be demolished. Special Inspection is potentially required for welding and for bolding. The work is required to comply with the approved drawings, with the structural design, with the plan review report, and with all applicable codes and ordinances.
