(BAIRD OIL – NEW METAL BUILDING ADDITION – SOUTHWEST SIDE OF EXISTING BUILDING) (DRH17-00093) (11-13-17 PLAN MODIFICATION TO MODIFY THE FOOTINGS AND FOUNDATION ALONG GRID 6 TO BE SIMILAR TO THE FOOTINGS AND FOUNDATION ALONG GRID 1 TO ALLOW FOR AN OVERHEAD DOOR IN THE WALL AT GRID 6. THE WALL BRACING ALONG GRID 6 IS ALSO REQUIRED TO MATCH THE WALL BRACING ALONG GRID 1.) This building does not have a fire sprinkler system. To construct a 4,408 square foot building adjacent to an existing 4,800 square foot building. Both buildings are considered to be one 9,208 square foot building for the application of the building code since they are separated by only 4 feet. Work is to include concrete footings, concrete stem walls, concrete slab on grade, steel column and girder moment frames, steel rod cross bracing, horizontal wall and roof purlins, steel siding, steel roofing, exterior windows, overhead doors, and side-hinged swinging doors. The building addition will not be insulated, conditioned, or have electric lighting. An existing gas pump and gas pump cover will be demolished. Special Inspection is potentially required for welding and for bolding. The work is required to comply with the approved drawings, with the structural design, with the plan review report, and with all applicable codes and ordinances. This permit is intended to establish a Certificate of Occupancy for the existing building and for the building addition. A separate permit is required for racks more than 8 feet tall. **CJW**
