The 138 unit hotel will be constructed under a separate permit and will also have a fire sprinkler system. Site grading was done under permit GRD18-00041. To construct the concrete garage superstructure phase of a multi-phase project. This building will be 7 stories tall and will have 7 levels of parking. The total floor area of the garage portion of this building is about 222,217 square feet (45,151 square feet on the 1st story, 45,151 square feet for the floor between the 1st story and the 2nd story, 30,076 square feet floor of the 3rd story, 30,076 square feet floor of the 4th story, 30,076 square feet floor of the 5th story, 30,076 square feet floor of the 6th story, and 11,611 square feet floor of the 7th story/upper occupied roof). The garage will have a total of at least 541 parking spaces (includes at least 2 van accessible parking spaces and at least 9 car accessible parking spaces). Work is to include concrete footings, concrete foundations, concrete elevator pits, concrete foundation for a construction crane, under slab utilities, concrete slab on grade, 2-hr concrete columns, 2-hr concrete shear and bearing walls, 2-hr post-tensioned concrete beams, 2-hr concrete floor and vehicle ramp between the 1st and 2nd stories, 2-hr walls to create a complete separation between the 1st story and the 2nd story at the ramp, 2-hr post-tensioned concrete floors/vehicle ramps, 2-hr concrete pour strips, 2-hr stairway enclosures, 2-hr fire barrier walls, 2-hr elevator shafts, interior masonry walls, fire door frames, vehicle and occupant cable guards, and a storm water vault. The stairways, elevators, generator yard, generator, fire stopping, fire sprinkler system, fire alarm, electric lighting including emergency lighting, fire doors, etc. will be completed under the future hotel phase. Special Inspection is required for soils, concrete (including prestressing tendons), steel (including welding), masonry, and anchors post-installed in hardened concrete or masonry. This permit is not intended to establish a Certificate of Occupancy for any portion of this building. A separate permit is required for the swimming pool.
