(PERPETUITY SKIN + SPA – NORTH PORTION OF BUILDING) (DRH18-00572) This building does not have a fire sprinkler system. To remodel an existing 5,022 square foot tenant space for a new spa tenant. The 860 square foot storage basement is not being altered. Child care within this building is not classified as a child daycare because parents or guardians will be on site while their children are on site. Demolition work includes removing concrete slabs, sections of interior walls, interior doors, exterior windows, ceilings, finishes, and millwork. Asbestos abatement and other interior nonstructural demolition was done under permit BLD18-02855. Work is to include interior nonbearing walls, four (4) single-user toilet room accessible to the disabled, a “high” and a “low” drinking fountain accessible to the disabled, three shower rooms and showers accessible to the disabled, one shower room and shower not accessible to the disabled, interior doors, suspended acoustical ceilings, suspended gypsum board ceilings, new exterior doors, new storefront windows, repaired roof joists, millwork, and finishes. A six foot tall white vinyl fence trash enclosure with a concrete slab on grade will be constructed. The work is required to comply with the approved drawings, with the plan review report, and with all applicable codes and ordinances. The fire alarm system for mechanical unit shutdown is required to comply with NFPA 72 as regulated by the Fire Department. Separate fire alarm permits shall be obtained prior to beginning any modification or installation work on such systems. **CJW**
