(STELLA’S ICE CREAM SHOP – 1ST STORY – SOUTHWEST CORNER) (3-9-20 PLAN MODIFICATION TO INSTALL A BELOW GRADE SUMP PUMP TO SERVE THE KITCHEN, A BELOW GRADE GREASE INTERCEPTOR IN THE KITCHEN, AND A GREASE INTERCEPTOR PUMP-OUT PORT THROUGH THE EXTERIOR WALL AT MAIN STREET. THE SUMP PUMP COVER IS REQUIRED TO HAVE A MINIMUM LIVE LOAD CAPACITY OF AT LEAST 100 POUNDS PER SQUARE FOOT. ALL SURFACES AND ELEVATION CHANGES AT THE SUMP PUMP COVER ARE REQUIRED TO BE ACCESSIBLE TO THE DISABLED. IN ADDITION, A PORTION OF THE CEILING OUTSIDE OF THE KITCHEN WILL BE RAISED TO 12 FEET AND THE ELECTRICAL SERVICE TO THIS TENANT SPACE WILL BE UPGRADED.) The fire sprinkler system is used for high rise and for fire area. To remodel an existing 923 square foot tenant space located on the 1st story of an existing high rise building for a new food service tenant. Egress is directly to the outside at grade. Work is to include interior nonbearing walls, interior doors, millwork, food preparation equipment, and finishes. The work is required to comply with the approved drawings, with the plan review report, and with all applicable codes and ordinances. Approved signage is required to be posted within this tenant space with directions to the public toilet rooms located on the 1st story. The signage shall state that public toilet rooms are available and shall include the passcode. The fire sprinkler system is required to comply with NFPA 13 and the fire alarm system is required to comply with NFPA 72 as regulated by the Fire Department. Separate fire sprinkler permits and fire alarm permits shall be obtained prior to beginning any modification or installation work on such systems. **CJW**
