(CRAFTSMAN UNLIMITED HAIRCUTS – BARBER SHOP – OCCUPANCY) This building does not have a fire sprinkler system. Application for inspection to determine the requirements for the issuance of a Certificate of Occupancy for a new barbershop in an existing 800 square foot barber shop tenant space which occupies the entire building. No new work is authorized under this permit except for minor work that may be needed to correct noncompliant conditions that may exist. Painting, carpeting, counter tops, and similar finish work are not required to have a building permit. Compliance is required with the items listed in the plan review report under Referenced Code Sections because noncompliance with these items is believed to constitute a distinct hazard to life and safety or to discriminate against the disabled. Existing features that were constructed or installed under the 1985 UBC are allowed to remain without upgrade if in compliance with the 1985 UBC **CJW**
