(IDAHO RECORD MANAGEMENT – EXPANDED STORAGE RACKS) To install 24 foot tall steel storage racks with a catwalk, 13 foot tall steel storage racks with a catwalk, 8 foot tall infill steel storage racks below existing racks, and 16 foot tall steel storage racks within record buildings A & B. The new catwalks will connect to the existing catwalks which provide access to existing stairways. Existing stairways, including associated guards and handrails, are required to be maintained in compliance with previous approvals and with the codes in effect when they were installed. The means of egress system is required to comply with the Building Code. The location of existing stairways and egress paths are required to generally be in compliance with the approved drawings. The storage areas are NOT allowed to be open to the public. The new racks will be attached to the existing concrete floor using Hilti Kwik Bolt TZ 1/2 inch anchors embedded 2.5 inches into the concrete floor. The racks and their installation are required to comply with RMI/ANSI/MH 16.1-2008. Two (2) anchors per foot plate are required. Periodic Special Inspection is required during anchor installation. The provisions of ICC Evaluation Report ESR-1917 are required to be followed. The work is required to comply with the approved drawings, with the structural design, and with all applicable codes and ordinances. The fire sprinkler system is required to comply with NFPA 13 as regulated by the Fire Department. The design for alterations to the fire sprinkler system is a deferred submittal item. **CJW**
