The fire sprinkler scope of work consists of (2) dry systems and (1) wet system to protect the 1st floor parking garage, offices and recreation areas. Floors 2-5 plus the attic dry systems will be submitted at a later date under a separate permit.

Note: None of the standpipe system was reviewed at this time. The standpipe will be reviewed at a later date when the entire standpipe system has been submitted.

(RIVER EDGE APARTMENTS - GARAGE) (x-ref expired permit BLD12-00318) To construct a 97,150 sq. ft. mixed use occupancy parking garage / common activity area. The parking area is 84,390 sq. ft. plus approx. 12,760 sq. ft. common & activity support area. Approximately 69,800 sq. ft. of the 1st level parking / common area is covered by a reinforced, post tensioned, 3-hour fire rated, horizontal concrete floor assembly acting as a horizontal fire separation between the four stories of residential units above. The installation of an NFPA 13 fire sprinkler system is required throughout this building and is used for allowable area increase and for an additional story.
