Fire conference is complete. Advised Dustin with MCALVAIN too email Joe Bruce, Fire Section Supervisor too see if a variance can be granted to have the PIV closer than 40 feet to the building. PIV location was compromised due too fire truck access, PIV is no longer in the parking lot island as designed, island had to be shortened for fire truck access. A re-submittal will be required for underground supply re-route as noted on previous inspection and too show new location for PIV.

The 6" supply line is ok to cover except where the PIV needs to be installed and the connection to the IBR. The remote FDC piping can be covered from the building to the end of the first 21' of pipe.

Rough to cover inspection for fire service main underground re-route complete, plans need to reflect re-route before final inspection, re-route approved for cover at contractors descretion provided re-route does not effect water calculations for down-stream fire sprinkler services.
