The remainder of of roof deck that is being replaced has been completed. Attacment was ok. No joist replacement needed. Also noted that mechanical contractor started work to reinstall the airhandler/ac unit this morning. Addirional blocking was not installed per the engineers details. 3/8 inch diameter x3 inch long anchors were installed on bottom chord of new roof joist. the existing airhandler/acunit had not yet been hung. Work was temporarily stopped in this area until the appropriate blocking per the approved engineers detail has been completed and inspected prior to reinstalling the existing airhandeler/ac unit. Engineer was notified (Shawn Reader) on anchor install. Noted that it should be ok if anchors were less than 1/2 inch in diameter. Mr. Reader has been notified of the actual diameter. I verified that the sprinkler head distance still meets NFPA 13 for distance from the deck/bottom of joist. It appears that they are ok, as I was only able to inspect in one area. I verified this with Tim Frost in Plan Review.
