SURGERY CLINIC – 3RD FLOOR – SUITE #300) **PLAN MOD (10-8-19) - REVISE FLOOR PLAN LAYOUT INCLUDING DOOR SIZE/HARDWARE, FLOOR PLAN LAYOUT, MECHANICAL, PLUMBING, AND ELECTRICAL DESIGN HAS BEEN REVISED ON THE DRAWINGS. The fire sprinkler system is used for high-rise and for occupancy. To remodel 7,962 sq. ft. of the 3rd floor of an existing medical office building. Work to include: interior noncombustible nonbearing walls, suspended acoustical ceiling, gypsum board soffit, toilet room, new doors, counters, cabinets, mechanical, plumbing, and electrical, and new finishes in compliance with Ch. 8 of the 2015 IBC. The work is required to comply with the approved drawings and with all applicable codes and ordinances. Any alterations or modifications to the building’s Fire Sprinkler or Fire Alarm system WILL REQUIRE A SEPARATE PERMIT and shall be installed per NFPA 13 and NFPA 72 as regulated by the Boise Fire Department. This facility is an outpatient health clinic with procedure rooms. Since there are only (3) three treatment rooms and the patients will not be rendered incapable of self-preservation, this shall be classified as an outpatient clinic, type “B” occupancy. **JHB**

Need the project related fire alarm and fire sprinkler permits finaled. I noted that doors have been revised but there were no stamped plans showing the changes had been approved on site. The single main exit door has been changed to a double door with door magnets. It appears to need to meet IFC chapter 10 "sensor controled door" which will require a sensor and interconnection with the fire alarm system. Please contact Jim at ###-####
