The fire sprinkler scope of work consists of connection to the previously installed 8" dedicated underground fire service and install a new 1250 @130psi fire pump to supply the 3 new ESFR fire sprinkler systems, utilizing 6" and 4" mains with 2½” and 2" branch lines supplying 16.8k ESFR pendants to protect the 119,473 ft² core and shell building for rack or high pile storage up to 20 feet.

This building is fire sprinklered in accordance with NFPA 13 with 60 ft yards for unlimited area. Permit for the construction of a new 117,432 sq. ft., 1-story concrete tilt-up shell building and associated site work. Scope of work includes: construction of slab on grade concrete foundation, concrete tilt up construction, construction of new steel bar-joist roof framing / steel pan deck, electrical, mechanical, plumbing. All work shall comply with the approved plans, DRH17-00143 and all applicable codes. Utilizes ANSI/ASHREA 90.1. Special Inspections Required, see form 310. A separate permit is required prior to occupying this structure and a separate racking permit is required if racks are installed over 8 feet in height. Separate permits will be required for the building fire protection systems, as regulated by the Fire Department. **JAR**

This project includes approved code alternates to the following fire protection systems and/or building life safety systems. Please review the supplemental documents attached to this building permit case for details. Fire protection “shop drawings” shall include approved code alternate design.
