The fire sprinkler scope of work consists of adding, plugging and relocating sprinklers to accommodate new wall and ceiling configuration.

• Core and shell piping is under permit FIR18-00420
• The underground piping is under permit GIT18-00132

Permit for tenant improvements to an existing 5 story building with work to include the build-out of the interior tenant spaces. The 2nd through the 5th stories are to be occupied by a single tenant. The 5th story is a first time T.I as the story was added under a previous permit. This permit will establish occupancy for the main entry lobby, and the 2nd through 5th floors with separate building permits required for add any new basement and 1st story tenants. The cable guardrails will be a deferred submittal. This building is fully fire sprinklered to eliminate corridor requirements. Any alterations to the sprinkler system will require a separate permit and shall comply with NFPA 13 and 72 as regulated by the fire department. CDM

This project includes approved code alternates to the following fire protection systems and/or building life safety systems. Please review the supplemental documents attached to this building permit case for details. Fire protection “shop drawings” shall include approved code alternate design.

Add head in closet on 5 as discussed. City approved drawings do not show stair opening between 3 and 4, no head under stairs, could not verify space under landing, appears to be a combustible concealed space. Close spaced sprinkler heads may be required between levels.
