Description	This fire alarm permit is to add notification and smoke detectors to the fire alarm control panel for the residential tenant improvement. This is in conjunction with the shell fire alarm - see FIR08-00368 for reference. A building permit: BLD08-00678 (SIMPLOT APARTMENT - 2ND STORY - HYDE PARK) DRH07-00491 This building is fire sprinklered to allow the R Occupancy and for story increase. To construct a dwelling unit on the 2,217 square foot 2nd story of a new building. Work is to include interior nonbearing walls, millwork, and finishes. The building shell was constructed under permit BLD05-00128. The basement and 1st story restrooms, the elevator shaft and elevator, the glass in floors, the exterior ramp, the stairways, the handrails, the parking, the guards, the 1-hr transparent walls at the South property line, exterior windows, building envelope, a furnace, etc. were all done or installed under the shell permit. The work is required to comply with the approved drawings, with the plan review report, and with all applicable codes and ordinances. The fire sprinkler system is required to comply with NFPA 13 as regulated by the Fire Department. CJW

Spoke with Robert Gobler to verify status of the project. I let him know that a separate fire alarm company has recently submitted a fire alarm permit to provide the same service his permit scope is showing. He said that as far as he knows he is still working on the project, but that he would make some phone calls and let me know what is going on by tomorrow.
