**Project Management- Ron Hill** (IDAHO HUMANE SOCIETY – OFFICE, ANIMAL SHELTER, ANIMAL HOSPITAL, AND RETAIL SALES) (DRH17-00219) (CUP17-00037) (10-5-18 PLAN MODIFICATION TO ADD 17 PARALLEL PARKING SPACES ALONG THE EAST DRIVEWAY/FIRE LANE, REMOVE A GATE ACROSS THE EAST DRIVEWAY/FIRE LANE, REMOVE THE CHAIN LINK FENCING AT THE NORTH AND EAST EDGES OF THE SITE, RECONFIGURE CHAIN LINK FENCING AT OUTDOOR KENNEL AREAS, REMOVE THE OUTDOOR PAVED PLAZA AND REPLACE IT WITH GRASS LANDSCAPING, REMOVE A TRELLIS STRUCTURE AT THAT LOCATION, PROVIDE A SIDEWALK AT THE NORTH ENTRANCE WHERE THE PLAZA HAS BEEN REMOVED, RELOCATE THE SANITARY SEWER CONNECTION AT BIRD STREET, ADD A SIDEWALK TRENCH DRAIN WITH COVER, REMOVE A SIDEWALK THAT LED FROM THE PUBLIC WAY TO THE MAIN ENTRANCE, AND TO CHANGE DECIDUOUS TREES TO CONIFERS.) The fire sprinkler system is used for unlimited area of the building. To construct a 40,175 square foot building (34,443 square feet 1st story and a 5,732 square feet 2nd story) to be used as an animal shelter, as an animal hospital, for supporting office, for retail sales, and as a pet training classroom. Work is to include concrete footings, concrete foundations, concrete slabs on grade, masonry exterior walls, exterior framed walls, steel columns, steel beams, glu-lam beams, bearing walls, roof trusses, EIFS, metal exterior wall panels, cement exterior wall panels, pre-cast concrete exterior wall panels, roof insulation installed on top of the roof deck, roof coverings, exterior windows, exterior awnings, exterior doors, a 2nd story floor constructed of concrete on a metal deck, an elevator to serve the 2nd story with an elevator pit and shaft, two stairways to serve the 2nd story, interior doors, interior windows, millwork, and finishes. Special Inspection is required for concrete, masonry, welding, bolting, and EIFS. A trash enclosure with masonry walls will also be constructed on site. The work is required to comply with the approved drawings, with the plan review report, and with all applicable codes and ordinances. This permit is intended to establish a Certificate of Occupancy for this tenant and for the entire building. The fire sprinkler system is required to comply with NFPA 13 and the fire alarm system is required to comply with NFPA 72 as regulated by the Fire Department. Separate fire sprinkler permits and fire alarm permits shall be obtained prior to beginning any modification or installation work on such systems. **CJW**
