Rough to cover inspection is complete, city approved drawings will need to show the additional head on level 3. Levels 1 and 2 are approved for cover, level 3 is not approved for cover until freeze protection is in place, inspected and approved for cover. Spray foam insulation is being used, the pocket between sheetrock and piping must be maintained, a letter of compatability needs to be submitted to Mark Stumbaugh, Fire Sprinkler Plan Reviewer, if spray foam is not compatable with CPVC piping then any and all piping that has spray foam on piping will be required to be replaced. As shown on city approved drawings, a minimum of R38 is required over the top of the piping.

Letter of compatability needs to be submitted to the fire sprinkler plan reviewer in regards to the foam type insulation coming in contact with the CPVC sprinkler piping. Cover has not been approved for overhead fire sprinkler piping, any cover material installed that blocks the visual inspection for rough in will be required to be removed, as of this entry no cover is approved, fire conference is complete.
