The fire sprinkler scope of work consists of protecting a new residential assisted living center. The 6” underground supplies a 6” backflow preventer, 6” dry system and a 2 ½” wet system. The attic/dry system utilizes special application attic sprinklers. The wet system utilized residential sprinklers. The piping is steel except for the branch lines on the wet system which are CPVC.

Rough-in passed for the center section of the building. The dry system piping for the front canopy is not installed yet. Tenting is not done yet. I noted a missing earthquake brace on the main just before it will exit to the front canopy. I noted revised piping and fittings for the supply to the front canopy tht will need to be included in calculations. The low point drain the the janitors closet has not been installed yet.

Todays inspection was for the west end, cpvc piping as marked on the plans. I noted that the pipe sizing does not match in the Resident room as marked on the plans, residential pendants have been installed in the Corridor, pendant heads are overspaced in the Corridor, there are many "shadowed" areas in the Resident Room Restrooms, 2 1/2" cpvc piping has been installed where steel piping is shown, piping is missing earthquake bracing. No tenting has been installed yet.
