check dewatering

Dewatering ponds have retained water, no discharge from this area. Deeper well point water passing through baffled tanks and discharging in Walling Creek. Turbidity sample downstream for discharge was 4.45 NTU. Site is in compliance.

No trackout, fugitive dust at site. Permit signs and SWPPP info onsite. Concrete washout pans located at east exit.

New dewatering plan is now implemented. RP submitted updated copy. Cleaner water from the deeper well point is being pumped to the 4 tanks. A backup pond in case water turns turbid is has been enlargened. Water leaving system is visibly clear. No plume observed in Walling Creek.

A new settling and discharge setup has been installed to the adjacent lot. 4 holding chambers seperated by geotextile covered earthen berms will settle water and allow infiltration. If overflow of basins occurs, water flows through a lined channel to the vegeated banks of Walling Creek where water will sheet flow into the creek. This system started receiving the "maintenance" water from the active trench this morning and has not yet overflowed from the first basin. RP is reporting infiltration and the wind and sum is helping with evaporation.

No corrections needed, discharge is currently clean and site in compliance. Will check levels later this week.
