JAR // Permit for the construction of a new 95,334 sq. ft, 1-story pre-engineered shell RV dealership showroom and service building and related site improvements. Scope of work includes: construction of slab on grade concrete foundation, pre-engineered shell with insulation, log-framed exterior canopies, interior non-bearing partitions, doors, restrooms, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, millwork and interior finishes to be in compliance with Ch. 8 of the 2015 IBC. All work shall comply with the approved plans, geotech report dated 9/10/2018, DRH18-00097 and all applicable codes. Complies with 2015 IECC. Special Inspections Required, see form 310. A separate racking permit is required if racks are installed over 8 feet in height. Previously noted items have been corrected with exception to the door that was notated by Troy, opticon sensors not in place for access gates but gates are left open for fire truck access until opticon is operational. Fire alarm inspection has been completed, fire sprinkler inspections have been completed, fire extinguishers are placed with current inspection tags. A partial final inspection for life fire safety is complete, per conversation with Ron Johnson, a 90 TCO is authorized for life fire safety.

Inspection was actually for a conference to provide guide lines for the use of the south end/sales are for a Christmas function. It appears the gate for the existing fire hydrant needs installed, building address, Riser and Electrical Room signage, grading permit sign off, fire extinguishers mounted and a fire dept approved temp barrier to the rest of the building. Also needed is a building inspection and approval for the use of the building/area.

Spoke with Marty Quinowski at Musgrove Engineering, one of the Mechanical/Plumbing engineers who worked on the design. He stated that he and Bill Carter, the other engineer, were made aware of the 1" differential settlement and 2" maximum settlement. This has been addressed by the oversized conduit through the concrete foundtion wall (see email from architect Andrew Davis, attached) and by the selection of piping for this condition. Waste pipe will be PVC PWV and water pipe will be HDPE Schedule 11. No gas lines will be underground, all are overhead, with the exception of the supply feed by Intermountain Gas.
