Bentonite clay has been put inside the eroded hole on the slope to fill it up. The clay will expand and harden.

Other depressions will be filled with dirt to make a solid surface and then slope interupting wattles will be placed above and below the area.

Request to remove the above ground silt fence behind the home's fence. It is no longer needed and started to fall apart.

No other issues at site. Brett with Roth will notify ESC division when work is complete.

Met onsite with RP. The slope did not fail. The silt fence at the bottom of the site failed and overflowed water and dirt into the downhill property. The portion of the silt fence that was removed to allow for the building of the fence was not where the overflow occurred.
RP and crew are currently
1) Replacing wattles that were located in the road way to slow down overland flows
2) Dig a channel to send water into the vegetated perimeter and away from homeowner’s property
3) Removed sediment from behind remaining silt fence
RP has spoken with the homeowner and has committed to cleaning the sediment out of his garage area.
They hope to finish the fence in the next few days.

First phase of construction is to install permanent heavy duty fencing and stormwater swale at bottom of lot for drainage. Perimeter silt fence has been installed properly per ESC plan.

No DI protection to be installed due to slope of road and catchment area for storm drain. Do not want to overwhelm or clog inlets which could send stormwater over the hillside or onto existing property. RP Cleve to increase gutter and street sweeping frequency.

Approved for construction.
