WIP on framing building, one has foundation completed and no other work. Some material stored on sidewalk. No dirt leaving site, no ESC issues.

Minor amount of trash picked up during perimter walk. RP on duty, reported daily trash pick up is occuring. No trackout or discharges from site.

Request to RP to make sure crew sweeps sidewalk path where stucco is being applied.

Lots of small loose trash around site. Cherry picker being used on sidewalk along creek, grass will need to be repaired. Talked with RP while on site, said trash boxes are emptied weekly, trash is picked up by laborers everyday. will monitor.

Met with RP while on site. Some trash and dirt in site and along green belt. RP says they do a walkthrough and cleanup at end of work days.

Wattle has been installed on east end protecting wetlands. Still lots of trash scattered around building sites. Some trackout onto interior roads. Homes on western edge have lots of lumber waste and are storing material all over grounds. Hunter home washouts are nearly full, washout on north side of project is almost full.

trash follow up

Some trash still found along perimeter of site in vegetation of Walling Creek during inspection. Windy conditions making trash control difficult. Full bins are to have pallets or boards placed over them to prevent wind from blowing out items. Bins are to be emptied tomorrow. Walked site with RP, ordered that trash pick up crew should pass by Walling Creek at a minimum of once per day..

Trash crew (2 workers, 1 full time, 1 part time ) covers Park Place each day and also picks up in River Heights.

WIP on townhomes in phase. Trash contained and picked up around site. No trackout or fugitive dust observed. No discharges. Concrete washout pans located in open area across BV Drive. No corrections

WIP on new phase. Site is clean, can use some lumber scrap cleanup. No BMPs between site and greenbelt, old wattle is rotted away.

WIP on interior access road and gutter. Subsurface utility work complete. Sediment control wattle properly installed at edge of sidewalk path along Walling Creek. No fugitive dust occuring.

No immediate corrections needed, but will need to remove dewatering phase outlet materials along the west end of Walling Creek. Regularly inspect creek area for loose constuction materials and litter. Suggest installing fence during the vertical construciton of townhomes.

Water still ponded in auxiliary parking area. Water is clean and discharging into Walling Creek. Once dewatering is complete for this phase a cleanup of the wetland and creek area will be necessary.

Water is sheet flowing into walling creek. The first discharge point is slowly releasing water into the creek and providing filtering. The second discharge point is not providing filtering but the water entering the creek is clean. The rest of the water is sheet flowing into the creek. No plume detected.

Dewatering operation is ongoing. There is no visible plume entering walling creek or the wetland. The discharge is too great for the spillways and the second spillways BMPs are no longer providing residence time or filtration. At the end of the site the water is sheet flowing through the riparian area into walling creek. This discharge appears clean.

RP is conducting turbidity testing on discharge points. The channel length through the site has been increased. Additional BMPs have been added to the first discharge point. Overflows are occurring on the North portion of the site near the bridge. The water is overflowing the berms sheet flowing through the vegetation and into the creek. All discharges appear clean. No plume is visible currently. Requested RP ensure the SWPPP is kept up to date and contains the turbidity measurement. Dewatering operation is currently okay.

Dewatering operation update: Water has filled the site designated for sheet flow and infiltration of the dewatering water as well as the contingency settling site. Two overflow spill ways have been installed that are discharging water into the creek adjacent to the site.

The first over flow spill way is comprised of a dirt berm channel with three wattles to slow water flow and catch sediment. The discharge appears clean with no plume in the creek visible.

The other overflow set up is comprised of a wattle slowing discharge from the site. The water then enters a pipe. The outlet to the pipe has plastic sheeting underneath it to prevent scour/erosion at the outlet. There is another wattle placed at the bottom of the plastic sheet to slow the water and catch the sediment before the discharge enters the stream. The water appears clean with no plume visible.

The RP should update the SWPPP to reflect changes to the dewatering plan. At the end of the dewatering operation ensure the BMPs are cleaned up so they do not enter the stream. Left message with RP.
