Note: upper pond was not muddy, water running down the east Warm Springs Mesa drainage is muddy as it joins the slough and stormwater facilites at bottom of Hill and outleting to Walling Creek. This indicates significant erosion is occuring in the drainage. Will notify ACHD and Boise Public Works.

Inspected 10-9-17. No new disturbances. Vegetation has grown in on vacant lots. Some blocksom has been removed from DIs, will need to be replaced before new ground disturbance. Will need site inspection and BMPs before any ground disturbing activities begin.

No recent construction activity. Vegetation on slopes has established well, will still need to address some area that have rills visible. Can look to divert water, resurface and install slope intercepting wattles. NO trackout, discharges, or dust.

Still need to address stockpiles at the east end of Trent Point and install some sediment controls on the slope above the retention pond that has rills and a large gully that developed on the surface above the piped slope drain.

No immediate corrections, will set up conference with RP.

No new subdivision activity. All upper roads, sidewalks and gutters are free of loose dirt and sediment. Disturbed areas have revegetated well.

Corrections still in progress:
- increase sediment control on long gentle slope above Trent Point. Will also request Suez Water to complete access road to water tank and adjacent area
- need to address erosion rills above the east stormwater pond and below the stockpile. Stockpile has started to vegetate with volunteer plants but needs perimeter sediment control on downslope side.

Vegetation has stabilized a majority of the slopes. The stock pile needs containment. Some sediment moving off site. Some rills still present on site. The DI protection needs to be replaced.

Large rill adjacent to drainage channel has been filled. Trench has been dug along top of slope to channel water into the drainage channel. Sediment runoff onto sidewalk still occurring.

RP addressing rill and sediment runoff from the site. They are using dandy bags to protect inlets. Planning to clean DIs. Eric (RP) is aware of erosion problems and will making a plan of action moving forward to stabilize the slopes. He is currently working to remove sediment from the sidewalks and streets. Will follow up next week with additional corrections.

Entrance at Windsong and Galactic in good condition. Runoff for upper site is retained on site and BMPs installed at outlet.

Only muddy runoff source is at the east Trent Point entrance. Disturbed area from concrete washout installation, muddy equipment, and some trackout causing turbid discharge. Downstream inlet at bottom of hill does not have filter bag or mat due to location at low point and private driveway access & flooding issues.

Verbal correction to RP to clean up entrance better, install wattles on upper side of street and clean out accumulated materials in check dams.



RP on site and will work on clean up and installing perimeter controls around washout to prepare/ make corrective actions for next rainfall.

Significant activity and linear construction on surrounding roadways. Regular sweeping has occured to deal with trackout and loose dirt. Receiving storm drains have sediment protection. Will need to focus on perimeter controls if rainfall forecasted at end of week materializes.

Need to clean up some areas of trackout at both entrances to subdivision. Need to provide plan for temp stabilization/sediment controls once grading is complete.

No fugitive dust, no discharges. Permit and SWPPP info on site.

Complaint regarding grading limits:

- Developer working in future area of stormwater retention pond for BH #7
- approximately 1 acre of disturbance, permitted for 8.5 acres with Boise.
- water truck onsite for dust control as needed. No significant dust existing project area
- No BMP failures observed. Construction entrance and sediment controls working well. Site inspection form are located in SWPPP box and up to date
- Sediment control BMPs installed at bottom of new excavated area in question


Investigating if this 1 acre is part of the 8.5 for project.

Correction request:

- update site map in SWPPP folder and show BMPs installed.

Rough grading and grubbing are in progress. Staging area and construction entrance are in good condition with no trackout. No fugitive dust issues observed. Vegetation around perimeter has been preserved as a buff.

No corrections at this time, permit posted and SWPPP onsite.

10 AM pre-construction conference

Conference with developer JH, operator Central Paving, engineer, COB PW Hillside Engineers, & MTI inspector.

Staging area will be installed off Trent Point in flat area at east end of development. Rock construction entrance and perimeter silt fence to be installed this week as equipment is brought on site. Area will be used for parking, equipment fueling, and stockpiling. DIs down from entrance will need sediment filter bags. RP Eric to call when these initial BMPs are installed.

Rough grading to begin next week or early April. A temporary drainage basin/diversion trench will direct run-on to the existing drainage swale and BH#6 ponds.

Large rock stockpiles will be stored temporarily onsite. Oversize rocks to be broken down.

Plan is to have pipe and streets installed. Work allowed Mon-Sat 7 am- 7pm

Temporary stabilization and perimter sediment controls will be required for period after grading and road installation is completed and they hydroseeding to occur in November.

SWPPP onsite, designated inspector is Eric who will do inspections weekly. Approved.
